La Ruche
Our collaboration with La Ruche, a South American grill and steakhouse, was about more than just creating visually appealing content. It was about translating their passion for high-quality ingredients and rich flavors into a visual experience that engages and entices.

Location & Lighting Strategy
A strong production starts long before the cameras roll. We began by understanding La Ruche’s identity, their unique offering, and their target audience.
La Ruche specializes in South American-style grilled meats, fresh seafood, and handmade pastas. Their focus on high-quality ingredients and bold flavors gave us a clear direction for the visuals: rich textures, warm tones, and a cinematic yet natural feel.

Camera Techniques
Every dish was carefully prepped and timed to ensure it was captured at its absolute best. We worked closely with La Ruche’s chefs to align the cooking and plating process with our filming schedule, ensuring peak freshness and presentation.
To achieve a high-end but natural look, we focused on controlled, moody lighting that enhanced textures and depth. The light was sculpted to emphasize the golden crust on a steak, the vibrant colors of fresh herbs, and the rich marbling of premium cuts of meat.
We used a combination of dynamic and intimate shots to build a compelling visual narrative:
Slow-motion close-ups of sizzling meats and bubbling sauces.
Macro shots to reveal details like the crispness of a seared steak or the creamy texture of a freshly made sauce.
Sweeping motion shots to place viewers in the heart of the restaurant, immersing them in the dining experience.

Multi-Format Optimization 16-9, 9,16 & 1,1
Once the shoot was wrapped, the footage went through an extensive post-production process. This stage is where everything truly comes to life.
We edited the footage with a clear storytelling arc—starting with the energy of the kitchen, transitioning into the artistry of plating, and ending with the final dining experience.
Color grading played a crucial role in setting the mood. By enhancing warm tones and deepening shadows, we brought out the natural beauty of each dish. This ensured that every ingredient looked as fresh and appetizing on screen as it does in person.
To make the content as versatile and valuable as possible, we delivered it in multiple formats:
16:9 (widescreen) for a cinematic feel, ideal for website and in-store displays.
9:16 (vertical) for social media, designed to capture attention on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Pre-cut clips for easy integration into digital marketing campaigns.
